Roseberry Funeral Service was first opened in December 2014 on Coatham Road in Redcar by Michelle, our principle Funeral Director and Managing Director. This was a labour of love that followed for many years within the funeral profession. The career she followed included being a mortuary technician, Funeral Director for a large company, and an assessor of funeral qualifications. In each of these roles, Michelle is fully qualified.
The value of "providing a personal and attentive service when you need it most" is of the upmost importance to everyone at Roseberry Funeral Service. We are constantly looking at how to improve the services that we offer and to ensure that each and every funeral is unique and fairly priced.
Our commitment to personal service lead to the expansion of the property at Redcar and the opening of an office at Marske and Guisborough. We now have expanded to have our own fleet of hearse and limousines, as well as a dedicated Private Ambulance.
We understand that the thought of arranging the funeral of a loved one is distressing. Bereavement leaves many families shocked, unsure of what to do and unsure of what their first steps should be. Our team has a wealth of experience and has helped many families through the most difficult time in their lives. We are here to support you in making the funeral as personal to you as possible.
Many people over the years have asked Michelle:
"Why are you called Roseberry's?"
"During my funeral career, I lived and worked in Somerset, London and the North East. Whenever I came back to visit everyone at home, I knew I was back when I saw Roseberry Topping. I wanted to make it feel like I was bringing people home and hopefully give families the comfort it gave to me. It always gave me an emotional feeling that I was back.............. I was home."
