This figure is also the price if you pay in full for your plan, if you choose to pay by monthly instalments there is no charge up to 12 months and a charge equivalent to 4.9% is made for plan paid over a greater number of instalments. Disbursements

Disbursements are the third party costs that your funeral director will settle on your behalf from the plan redemption value at the time of need. Although the funeral directors fees are guaranteed to be covered the disbursements are not as those costs are set by outside parties, for example local authorities or private companies or crematorium fees, churches, celebrants etc. If there is a shortfall in the redemption value of disbursements and the actual cost at the time of need your family or estate may have to make up that shortfall.
